Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Black Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Koparka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Black Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcin Koparka!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koparka misses with a double jab.
Koparka loads up on a big right hand but Jack slips the punch.

Jack closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Koparka to the mat! Koparka manages to get full guard.
Jack stops Koparka from standing up.
Koparka keeping moving, preventing Jack from controlling successfully.
Koparka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jack. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jack gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Jack swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Koparka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
No joy there for Koparka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Koparka lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Marcin Koparka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jack doesn't manage to clinch there - Koparka circles away.
Jack takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Koparka works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Koparka tries to bum rush Jack with a series of wild strikes but Jack uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Koparka throws a series of punches but Jack moves out of range.

Jack drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Koparka connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jack is trying hard to land a takedown here. Koparka sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Black Jack. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Koparka counters with a series of strikes. Jack will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Koparka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jack circles away quickly and effectively.

Jack has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Koparka is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jack tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Koparka wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jack has him pressed against the cage.
Jack tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Koparka smiles and moves away.

enabling Koparka to counter with a crisp jab.

Koparka lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Jack tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Koparka swivels and escapes.
Koparka throws out a loose jab but Jack uses good head movement to avoid it.
Koparka uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jack has time to react.
Koparka might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Jack is looking to clinch but Koparka is avoiding it.
Jack shoots in and drives through. Koparka sprawls well.
Koparka throws a right hand that Jack ducks under and follows up with a left that Jack also avoids with ease.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Koparka connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Koparka wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Koparka is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jack.

Marcin Koparka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Some bone on bone action there as Koparka checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Jack shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Koparka sprawls well. Koparka wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jack gets slowly back to his feet.
Koparka throws a combination. Jack tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Koparka leaves Jack with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Koparka misses with the combination.
Koparka circles away from the clinch attempt.

Jack drops his hands momentarily and Koparka takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jack ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Jack clinches up with Koparka and pushes him back against the cage.

Jack pulls guard successfully.
Koparka must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jack is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Koparka is aware though and is defending well.

Koparka passes Jack's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Marcin Koparka is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Koparka content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jack holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

I've got Koparka winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
