Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Field (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ribeiro is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Racionais MC's - A Vítima . Both these guys have really solid chins. Field closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ribeiro did well to prevent Field getting side control.
Field wants to work for an arm triangle but Ribeiro is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Field has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ribeiro defend it? Field steps over the head and cranks it - Ribeiro is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Field!
