4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Morgan! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson throws a series of strikes that have Morgan backpedaling.
It looks like Dexter Morgan has been cut. Johnson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Morgan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Johnson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnson wants it to stay on the feet. Anthony Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dexter Morgan. No luck for Morgan with that takedown attempt. Johnson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Johnson throws a right and a left that both miss. Morgan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet. Morgan shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Morgan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Johnson throws a head kick but Morgan moves out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Johnson. Morgan does a little dance to reset his feet. Johnson throws a leg kick but Morgan sees it coming and checks it nicely. Morgan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Morgan shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Morgan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Morgan looks gassed! Johnson connects with a looping right hand.

Johnson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Johnson lands a head shot. Johnson listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Morgan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Morgan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Morgan slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Morgan is rocked! Morgan loses concentration momentarily and Johnson pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Morgan crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Johnson finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Anthony Johnson! Anthony Johnson is the new middleweight champion!
