Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Remose A (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darra Late (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Late has chosen Gangstarr - Full Clip as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Remose A!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darra Late!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A tries to close the distance and clinch but Late swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Late tries to work over A's front leg with a kick but A checks it.
Late doesn't manage to clinch there - A circles away.

Late gets the takedown into side control.
Late working the ground and pound.
A is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Late asserts his dominance and retains side control.
A is breathing heavily.
You can see the frustration on A's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

A taking punishment in the form of punches.

Late looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Late throws a strike aimed at the side of A's head but A avoids it well.

Late is landing with some decent strikes but A is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

A is bucking up trying to escape but Late cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


The fight stays on the outside here - Late looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Late throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around A's waist but A gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Late off to one side.

A dips to his left and cracks Late with an uppercut!
Remose A is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Remose A has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darra Late.

A tries to close the distance and clinch up but Late swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Late has hold of A's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and A manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Darra Late showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! A's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Late shoots in looking for a takedown but A manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Late's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Late has had enough of the clinch but A keeps him there for the moment.

A makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Late just stands there and leans against the cage.
