Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyson Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daisu Miyagi!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones has a takedown stuffed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miyagi throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Miyagi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Miyagi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Miyagi counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jones's knee momentarily.

Miyagi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Miyagi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miyagi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jones holds on and takes a little breather.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tyson Jones.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
