Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Arnold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and vano Nir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arnold comes to the cage accompanied by Flying Purple People Eaters. Nir has chosen Orf�os do rock as his entrance music. The key to victory for Kenneth Arnold has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nir moves into the clinch successfully.
Nir tries to pull guard but Arnold won't allow it.
Arnold trying to control the position but instead, Nir has worked for underhooks and has pushed Arnold into the cage.
Nir has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Arnold is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Nir wants a takedown but no success here.
Kenneth Arnold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of vano Nir.
Arnold is pressed up against the cage. Nir has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Arnold down to the mat. Arnold avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Arnold fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nir looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Arnold motions for Nir to come forward. Arnold throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Nir misses with a takedown attempt - Arnold sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Arnold pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Arnold catches Nir with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kenneth Arnold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arnold connects with a right hand. Nir shakes it off.
Arnold throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Horrible takedown by Nir or perhaps it was just good defense by Arnold which made him look bad.

Arnold stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Arnold wants it to stay on the feet.

and Nir counters with a shoot takedown. Arnold fights it but they end up in guard.
Nir wants to control from the top but Arnold keeps moving.

Arnold might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Arnold stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Arnold looks to land a combination but Nir avoids it well.

and Nir counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Arnold!

Nir is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Nir dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Arnold. That did some damage!
Nir swings for the body but Arnold moves out of range.
Nir is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nir feints and then cracks Arnold's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Arnold down.

Arnold misses with a wild body shot.
Nir shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nir avoids the head kick by Arnold.
Nir clinches up with Arnold and pushes him back against the cage.
Nir is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Arnold is defending well for now.

vano Nir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Nir's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nir tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nir has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Arnold is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Nir is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nir cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Arnold takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Nir has control of Arnold's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Arnold regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
BOOM! Nir connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Kenneth Arnold has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
