Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stout is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Back in Black - AC/DC. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wrestling Spar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam Stout!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spar shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stout pinned against the cage. Stout gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Stout wants to clinch up but Spar keeps it at a distance.

Spar shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stout napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spar scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Stout to see if he's OK.
Spar moves into full mount!
Stout holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Spar tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The referee warns Stout that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Spar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stout is looking to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Spar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Stout's face.

Spar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Stout throws a right and a left that Spar avoids nicely.
Spar circles away from the clinch attempt.

Spar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stout is trying to defend but Spar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Spar seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Spar is taking a breather. Stout says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Spar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stout does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Spar lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Stout won't allow Spar to pass to mount.
Spar is keen to just control but Stout is a slippery customer.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Spar is keen to just control but Stout is a slippery customer.
Spar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Wrestling Spar.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Spar.
Stout defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Spar.

Spar darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Spar wants to advance to full mount but Stout doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Stout keeping moving, preventing Spar from controlling successfully.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stout is on top in guard.
Spar is trying to control the position but Stout postures up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Stout distracts Spar with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Stout tries to stand but Spar is controlling from the bottom.
Stout working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Spar has a closed guard, preventing Stout from standing up.

Stout drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Spar manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stout has Spar in his guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Spar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stout sprawls well. Stout wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Spar gets slowly back to his feet.
Stout misses with a jab, cross combination.
A punch lands to the side of Spar 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Stout displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Spar.

Spar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Stout is trying to defend but Spar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Spar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stout keeps working.

Stout wants to get back to full guard.
Spar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Spar thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Stout to regain full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Stout holds on and takes a little breather.
Spar throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stout works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Stout looking to hit a scissor sweep but Spar is one step ahead there.
Stout working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Spar.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Spar chips away with some ground and pound.

And that's the end of the fight!
Wrestling Spar showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Spar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
