The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fox fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mcallister sprawls well initially but Fox persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fox slows the pace down in half guard.

Fox is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mcallister is just riding it out for now. Fox eventually gives up the hold.
Mcallister really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fox is looking for a kimura but Mcallister is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fox to get the leverage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
