Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evgeni Crosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Blue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Crosby might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Spoon Man. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Evgeni Crosby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Blue!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crosby tries to clinch but Blue moves out of range.

Crosby forces Blue back against the cage and clinches.
Crosby on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Blue throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Crosby blocks it with crossed arms.

Crosby breaks from the clinch.
Billy Blue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Crosby shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Blue manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Crosby will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Crosby is looking to work some ground and pound but Blue has wrist control.

Crosby thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Crosby gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Crosby throws a head kick but Blue moves out of range.

Crosby clinches up against the cage.
Crosby tries to score a body lock takedown but Blue shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Blue tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Crosby is trying to break the clinch but Blue has him pressed against the cage.

Crosby has Blue pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Crosby pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Blue tumbling to the mat - Crosby dives into Blue's guard.
Blue really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crosby. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Crosby looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Blue looks gassed!

Crosby passes Blue's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Crosby decides to stand up.

Crosby drives through and clinches with Blue against the cage.

Horrible takedown by Crosby or perhaps it was just good defense by Blue which made him look bad.
Blue wants to clinch.
Blue looks for a takedown but Crosby sprawls well.
Crosby tries to close the distance and clinch but Blue swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Crosby closes the distance and pushes Blue back into the cage.
Blue tries to land a knee to the head but Crosby blocks with his arms.
Crosby dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Crosby wants the takedown. Blue is fighting it off but Crosby persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Blue's guard against the cage.
Crosby wants to control from the top but Blue keeps moving.
Crosby distracts Blue with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Blue working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Crosby.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crosby trying to control but Blue is working from the bottom.

Crosby drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Crosby jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Crosby gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Evgeni Crosby dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Crosby closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Blue did well to prevent Crosby getting side control.
Crosby seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Crosby wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blue keeps working.
Crosby trying to mount his opponent but Blue defends it.
Blue is breathing heavily.
Crosby takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Crosby thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Blue is in trouble now - Crosby has advanced to mount!
Crosby controlling his opponent.

Crosby working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Crosby controlling his opponent.
Crosby thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

A nice elbow there by Crosby.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Crosby cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Blue is squirming around, avoiding Crosby's attempts to control the action.
Crosby landing punches.

Crosby raining down shots from the mount!
Crosby working the ground and pound effectively.
Crosby trying to control but Blue is having none of it.

Crosby stands up from mount. Strange move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Evgeni Crosby dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Blue avoids a kick to the body.
Blue cracks a nice hook into Crosby's ribs.
Blue misses with a takedown attempt - Crosby sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Crosby tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blue swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Crosby fails in his attempt to clinch.
Blue keeps the fight on the outside.
Crosby lands a jab to Blue's midsection.
Evgeni Crosby is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Crosby tries for a takedown but Blue sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Crosby moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Crosby shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Crosby was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Crosby unloads with some shots from mount but Blue bucks and avoids them well.

Crosby gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Crosby gets the takedown into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Crosby is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Blue will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Blue is not content to let Crosby control the position.
Crosby creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Blue sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Crosby remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crosby has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Crosby has hold of Blue's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Blue tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Crosby cranks the arm and Blue screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Blue, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
