Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Gallloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orh Urdaalen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gallloway comes to the cage accompanied by Bleed It Out. Urdaalen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dope - I'm Back . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Gallloway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Orh Urdaalen!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Urdaalen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gallloway did well to prevent Urdaalen getting side control.
Urdaalen prevents Gallloway from standing back up.
Gallloway wants to control but Urdaalen is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Gallloway regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Urdaalen.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gallloway is on top in guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gallloway throws a big right hand that misses.

Gallloway is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Urdaalen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Urdaalen has escaped and now he's on top!

Urdaalen drops back looking for a leg! Gallloway is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gallloway manages to kick Urdaalen off! Urdaalen jumps back into Gallloway's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Urdaalen passes Gallloway's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Urdaalen is trying to control the action in half guard but Gallloway is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Urdaalen looks for a takedown but Gallloway sprawls well.

Gallloway closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Urdaalen to the mat! Urdaalen manages to get full guard.
Gallloway trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Urdaalen pulls Gallloway in close to his closed guard and prevents Gallloway from doing any damage or advancing position.
Gallloway would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Gallloway loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Urdaalen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gallloway's guard.
Gallloway lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Urdaalen!
Gallloway throws a sloppy strike and Urdaalen uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Urdaalen has ended up in Gallloway's guard.

Gallloway has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Urdaalen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Urdaalen looking to sit in guard and control but Gallloway gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Gallloway prevents Urdaalen from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Urdaalen is looking to advance position but Gallloway has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Urdaalen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gallloway throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Urdaalen because Gallloway loaded up on that one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Gallloway tries to clinch there but Urdaalen circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Urdaalen. Those never looked like landing.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Urdaalen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Matt Gallloway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Urdaalen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Urdaalen.

Gallloway isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Urdaalen stacks Gallloway on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Urdaalen!

Orh Urdaalen has got the better of the ground game so far.
Gallloway trying to keep a closed guard but Urdaalen is proving a slippery customer.

Gallloway had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Urdaalen defends it easily.
Urdaalen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Orh Urdaalen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Urdaalen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
