Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Dover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aimar Sammuel!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sammuel fails with the takedown.
Horrible takedown by Sammuel or perhaps it was just good defense by Dover which made him look bad.
Dover gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sammuel decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Dover shoots in for a double leg but Sammuel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sammuel shoots and misses
and Dover counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Ben Dover has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aimar Sammuel.
Dover moves into full mount! Sammuel won't be happy about that!
Dover is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dover scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Dover fails with a takedown attempt.
Dover closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dover is breathing heavily.

Sammuel is trying to get back to full guard.
Sammuel makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Dover checks the leg kick nicely there.
Sammuel misses with a takedown attempt
and Dover counters with a stiff right hand.
Sammuel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dover looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Dover tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Dover regains half guard.
Sammuel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Dover wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dover controlling the position for now.
Sammuel wants to stand up but Dover is controlling the position.
Dover looking for submissions off his back.
Dover is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dover trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Dover is refusing to be controlled, as Sammuel sits in half guard.
Sammuel stops Dover from getting back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Dover counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Sammuel is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dover is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dover prevents Sammuel from getting back to his feet.

Sammuel uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Sammuel scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Sammuel tries to stand but Dover is controlling his head.
You can see the frustration on Dover's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sammuel decides to stand back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dover tries to clinch up.
Dover lands a nice shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dover drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dover trying to control the position from guard on top but Sammuel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Dover dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sammuel is looking to clinch but Dover is avoiding it.
Dover throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sammuel swats away the attempt to clinch by Dover.
Sammuel misses with a takedown
and Dover counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Dover wants to pass the guard but Sammuel is keeping the position.
Dover looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Sammuel is trying to keep Dover in close.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dover throws a strike but Sammuel rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dover throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Dover had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sammuel is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dover Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sammuel's back instead.
Sammuel is trying to get back to his feet but Dover has full control of the position and if anything, Sammuel has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Sammuel breaks Dover's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dover has his foot on Sammuel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sammuel works his way back into a safe position though.
Sammuel stands up and waves to Dover to follow him.
Dover scores a takedown into full mount!
Dover controlling the pace for now.
Dover looking to isolate an arm here. Sammuel doesn't see it coming and as Dover extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Dover!
