And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rakur Marcin!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcin wants to clinch.
Phelps will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Phelps throws a right and a left that both miss.
Marcin slips a jab and a cross from Phelps.
Phelps misses with a jab, cross combination.
Marcin is looking to clinch but Phelps is avoiding it.
Phelps looks to land a combination. Marcin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Marcin shoots in and drives through. Phelps sprawls well.
Marcin tries to clinch but Phelps is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Phelps is fighting to break Marcin's control of his arms but Marcin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Phelps is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Marcin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Phelps is aware though and is defending well.
Phelps has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Phelps misses with a jab, cross combination.
Phelps misses with a few strikes there.

Phelps will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Marcin tries to clinch up but Phelps circles away and keeps his distance.

Marcin clinches up with Phelps and pushes him back against the cage.

Phelps tries to bum rush Marcin with a series of wild strikes but Marcin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marcin goes for a takedown attempt but Phelps pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Chris Phelps has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rakur Marcin.

Marcin darts in and clinches Phelps up against the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Marcin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rakur Marcin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Phelps's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Phelps throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Phelps misses with a few strikes there.
Phelps fails to land with a series of punches.

Marcin drives through and clinches with Phelps against the cage.
Phelps tries to pull guard but Marcin holds him up against the cage and eventually Phelps drops back down to his feet.
Phelps wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Marcin has him pressed against the cage.

Marcin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Marcin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Marcin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Phelps's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Phelps can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Marcin controls the pace.
Phelps is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Marcin wants to control but Phelps is keeping busy.

Phelps is keen to just control but Marcin is a slippery customer.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Marcin tries to get to full guard but Phelps has control of the leg.
