Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Batista!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batista throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dawg throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Batista counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Batista.
Dawg wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Batista has him pressed against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Batista as the two fighters clinch.
Dawg is trying to break the clinch but Batista has him pressed against the cage.
Batista lands with a right to the head.
Batista keeps control of Dawg as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Batista breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Batista swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Dawg counters with a crisp one two that drops Batista! Dawg thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Batista to his feet! Batista is in big trouble!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Batista fails to land with a series of punches.
Dawg connects with a nice cross there... Batista is looking wobbly and Dawg recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Batista to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Dawg jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
