The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Toney finds it's target.
Toney throws a one two combo.

Toney tries to keep at a distance but Ferragem has taken the fight into the clinch.

Toney tries to break free but Ferragem pushes him back against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Antonio Ferragem will probably get the nod.

Ferragem throws a right hand that Toney ducks under and follows up with a left that Toney also avoids with ease.

Ferragem moves into the clinch.
Ferragem lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Toney backwards.
Toney can't find room to land a body shot as Ferragem controls the action.
Toney tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ferragem smiles and moves away.

and Toney counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Antonio Ferragem is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Toney will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ferragem throws a hook to the side of Toney's head but Toney sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ferragem tries to clinch up but Toney circles away and keeps his distance.

and Toney counters with a lovely shot to the body.
No joy there for Ferragem, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Toney closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ferragem to the mat! Ferragem manages to get full guard.
Ferragem wants to get back to his feet but Toney is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Toney is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Toney is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ferragem is looking to stand up but Toney isn't so interested in that idea.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Toney shoots in for a takedown but Ferragem shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
