Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Safic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makke Hakala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Safic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Papa Roach - Last Resort (Uncensored Version) . Makke Hakala looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Safic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hakala.

Safic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
You can see the frustration on Hakala's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hakala is looking for a sweep.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Safic tries to get to his feet but Hakala is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Safic in his guard.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Makke Hakala showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Hakala feints and as Safic raises his hands in defense, Hakala changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Safic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hakala on the ground.

Hakala postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Safic takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Hakala throws a strike aimed at the side of Safic's head but Safic avoids it well.
Safic takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hakala lands a few punches from side control.
Hakala slows the pace down.
Hakala sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Safic is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Hakala in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Safic is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hakala has just dragged him back down to the mat.
