Kovalenko throws a hook but Powarenko blocks it.
Powarenko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kovalenko as he avoids it easily.
Kovalenko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Powarenko.

Kovalenko drops Powarenko with a beautiful combination! Powarenko stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kovalenko is looking for the KO!

It looks like Slavonik Powarenko has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kovalenko misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kovalenko sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Powarenko's defenses. It connects perfectly with Powarenko's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
