Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Blanton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierce Ruane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ruane's choice of entrance music: America - Fuck Yeah. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Blanton misses the target.
Ruane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blanton tries to avoid it but Ruane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blanton to the ground. Blanton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Blanton cracks Ruane with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ruane looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Blanton finish him?
It looks like Pierce Ruane has been cut.
Ruane shoots in for a takedown but Blanton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Blanton drops Ruane with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ruane looks back up at him and smiles so Blanton waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ruane is rocked!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blanton moves in close and cracks Ruane with a massive right hand! Ruane, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Blanton!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tom Blanton!
