Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hiroshi Hamasagawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaoklai Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaoklai Rock will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kaoklai Rock!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamasagawa moves in looking to clinch but Rock pushes him off.
Hamasagawa swats away the attempt to clinch by Rock.
Rock is looking to clinch but Hamasagawa is avoiding it.
Rock throws a solid leg kick but Hamasagawa takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rock.
Rock fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rock cracks the inside of Hamasagawa's front leg.
Rock misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rock lunges at Hamasagawa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hamasagawa's hand.
It looks like Hiroshi Hamasagawa has been cut.
Rock fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hamasagawa avoids it really well and circles away.
Hiroshi Hamasagawa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaoklai Rock.
Rock dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hamasagawa. That did some damage!
Rock shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hamasagawa pinned against the cage. Hamasagawa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rock fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hamasagawa looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hamasagawa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rock manages to avoid it.
Hamasagawa shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hamasagawa showed some decent athleticism there.
Rock looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Hamasagawa looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Hamasagawa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Hamasagawa's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Rock is looking for a sweep. Hamasagawa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Still in half guard, Hamasagawa seems content to control.
Hamasagawa is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rock defends it well.
Hamasagawa is breathing heavily.
Hamasagawa wants to free his trapped foot but Rock is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Hamasagawa takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Rock tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Hamasagawa has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Rock working to try and regain half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rock is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hamasagawa sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rock wants to hold on but Hamasagawa pushes him away.
Rock keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kaoklai Rock will probably get the nod.

That's time! Hamasagawa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hamasagawa is looking to clinch but Rock is avoiding it.
Hamasagawa drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hiroshi Hamasagawa.
Hamasagawa misses with a straight left.
Rock with a lazy takedown attempt
and Hamasagawa counters with a takedown into side control.
Rock trying to control but Hamasagawa flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Hamasagawa just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Rock has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Hamasagawa is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Rock up.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Rock wants to escape the position.
Hamasagawa throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Rock!
Hamasagawa has the hooks in. Rock is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Rock is breathing heavily.
Hamasagawa really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Rock.
Rock wants to escape the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hamasagawa biding his time, looking for the opening.
Hamasagawa has got one arm under Rock's chin. This could be trouble... Rock trying to control the other hand but Hamasagawa gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Rock has tapped out! The fight is over!
