Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yoshiaki Urai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TAKA Michinoku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urai's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Japan Will Kick Your Ass. Michinoku has chosen Yamato Suite Pt. 4 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, TAKA Michinoku!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michinoku works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Urai takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Michinoku wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Urai misses with a jab to the body
and Michinoku counters with a stiff right hand.
Urai looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Michinoku is fending him off so far but Urai persists. Nope, Michinoku circles away and we're back to standing.
Urai fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Michinoku avoids it really well and circles away.
Michinoku looks to land a combination. Urai sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Michinoku tries a low kick but Urai avoids it.
Urai walks into a jab.
Michinoku tries to work over Urai's front leg with a kick but Urai checks it.
Urai dives in and grabs Michinoku's left leg, looking for a takedown. Michinoku pushes down on Urai's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yoshiaki Urai. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Urai has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Michinoku lands a nice shot to the body.
Michinoku with a jab.
Michinoku throws a low kick, looking for Urai's leg but Urai calmly moves out of range.
Urai throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Urai doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Michinoku lands a body shot.
Michinoku ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Michinoku's corner calls for a 1-2. Michinoku obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Michinoku throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Urai is breathing heavily.
Michinoku lands with a shot to the body.
Michinoku dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Urai. That did some damage!
Urai takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Michinoku does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Michinoku throws a series of strikes that have Urai backpedaling.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Michinoku counters with a stiff right hand.
Michinoku fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Urai gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Michinoku.

Urai is rocked!
Michinoku walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Urai drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Michinoku swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Urai's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
