Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jordan Pierce !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joseph Sarmiento!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierce tries a head kick but it misses.
Some wild striking there from Pierce .
Sarmiento fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sarmiento shoots in looking for a takedown. Pierce tries to sprawl out of it but Sarmiento keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pierce manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pierce gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Pierce is trying to control. Sarmiento wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Sarmiento missing with punches from the bottom.
Pierce wants to free his trapped foot but Sarmiento is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pierce is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sarmiento doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pierce .
Pierce is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sarmiento sees it coming and defends easily.

Sarmiento has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pierce is working away from the top position though.
Pierce tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Sarmiento.
Pierce wants to control but Sarmiento is keeping him busy.
Sarmiento is looking to improve his position.
Pierce missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Sarmiento manages to get to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sarmiento trying to keep a closed guard but Pierce is proving a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Joseph Sarmiento.
Sarmiento closes the distance and clinches up with Pierce , looking for a takedown. Sarmiento pushes Pierce against the cage but Pierce circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sarmiento looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jordan Pierce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pierce misses with a wild combination.

Sarmiento fails with the takedown.
Jordan Pierce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joseph Sarmiento.

Pierce is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Sarmiento had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pierce defends it easily.
Pierce pushes down on Sarmiento's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Pierce is trying for a kimura here. Sarmiento looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Pierce wins by kimura!
