The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Reis. That snapped Crudele's head back.
It looks like Antonio Crudele has been cut.
Crudele throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Reis throws a combination. Crudele tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Antonio Crudele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crudele throws a sloppy body shot
and Reis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Reis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Crudele's head backwards.
That has opened up Antonio Crudele's cut even more.
Reis connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Reis throws a looping overhand right but Crudele ducks down to avoid it.
Crudele throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Crudele moves out of range as Reis strikes.
Reis lands with a cross.
Reis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Reis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Crudele is rocked!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Crudele drops his hands momentarily. Reis doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Crudele staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Crudele doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
