Mierscroft keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Brown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mierscroft missing with a left hand there. Brown was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mierscroft uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brown.

Brown lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mierscroft's sensitive parts.
Mierscroft wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance.
Mierscroft shoots in for a double leg but Brown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mierscroft is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Brown throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mierscroft.
Brown lands a glancing blow to the side of Mierscroft's head.

Fethwick Mierscroft seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Mierscroft! He's out on his feet! Brown rushes in and drops Mierscroft with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
