Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between KO Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wowie Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wowie Boy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, KO Kidd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wowie Boy!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kidd napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kidd is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Boy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kidd works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Boy postures up in Kidd's guard and throws a big left but Kidd blocks it.
Kidd wants to get back to his feet but Boy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kidd closes the distance and clinches.
Boy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kidd gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boy keeps control of Kidd as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boy is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kidd pulls him back up using the underhooks.
KO Kidd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wowie Boy.
Kidd lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Boy or not.
Kidd misses with some punches.

Kidd's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That was a close round but I would say that KO Kidd will probably get the nod.

Kidd cracks Boy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

KO Kidd showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kidd, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
