The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Mir, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Morris dodges the punch combination from Mir.
Mir swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Mir drops Morris with a beautiful combination! Morris stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mir is looking for the KO!

It looks like Screech Morris has been cut.

Mir looks to land a combination but Morris avoids it well.

Morris fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mir avoids it really well and circles away.

Screech Morris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Horrible takedown by Morris or perhaps it was just good defense by Mir which made him look bad.

Morris feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
