Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ding Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Grove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grove is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Way We're Made (Made in England) - Missing Andy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dong bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Grove on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Dong scores with a kick to the midsection.
Grove looks gassed!
Grove takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grove has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dong.
Ding Dong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Grove crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dong - the referee stops the clock and Grove gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dong. Grove manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Dong throws a leg kick which misses Grove's front leg but catches the back leg as Grove tries to avoid it.
Dong throws a front kick that sends Grove stumbling back into the cage.
Dong feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Grove's calf.
Dong lands a head kick. Grove smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Ben Grove has been cut.

Dong lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

The cut above Ben Grove's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Grove tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Dong! Grove is out on his feet! Dong rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Grove is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Grove is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
