Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mabishiro Sakamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mabishiro Sakamoto has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nicholas Lee's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nicholas Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 21 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mabishiro Sakamoto!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sakamoto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat.
Lee throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sakamoto throws a head kick but Lee moves out of range.

Sakamoto drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nicholas Lee.
Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sakamoto is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Sakamoto circles away and we're back to standing.
Lee tries to bum rush Sakamoto with a series of wild strikes but Sakamoto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sakamoto shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Sakamoto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lee's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lee duly obliges.
Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Sakamoto, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lee lands with an uppercut that bounces Sakamoto off the cage and back into rage.
Sakamoto is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lee.
Lee throws a right hand that Sakamoto ducks under and follows up with a left that Sakamoto also avoids with ease.

Lee moves in looking to clinch but Sakamoto pushes him off.

Lee lands with a kick to the temple. Sakamoto shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

and Lee counters with a series of strikes. Sakamoto will be more careful next time no doubt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
