The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Henoi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Henoi looking for a guillotine here but Marks defends easily.
Henoi throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Henoi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Marks defends well.
Marks avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Henoi wants to sweep but no luck.
Marks is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Henoi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Henoi throws his legs up looking for a submission but Marks uses it to pass to side control.
Henoi sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Henoi looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Henoi with the active half guard here but Marks passes nicely into side control.
Henoi is breathing heavily.
Marks is chipping away with strikes.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Henoi gets back to half guard.

Henoi gets back to full guard.
Marks looking to sit in guard and control but Henoi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Henoi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Marks looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Marks looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Marks!
Henoi stops Marks from passing to mount.
Henoi tries to bench press Marks off him but Marks keeps the position.
Henoi gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Marks tries to stand but can't do so whilst Henoi controls his leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Henoi is looking for a sweep. Marks is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Henoi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Marks's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Marks's back!
Marks is in bad spot here.
Henoi is working for a rear naked choke. Marks is not defending it well and Henoi has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Marks refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Marks's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
