Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between stef slachtmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pacific Roval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pacific Roval will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

slachtmes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roval was covering up waiting for the punch and slachtmes finishes the takedown easily into guard.
slachtmes controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Roval is working an open guard so slachtmes takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

slachtmes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

slachtmes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
slachtmes advances to full mount.

slachtmes is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Roval has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Roval!

Roval stands up from slachtmes's guard - Roval perhaps looking for a knockout.
slachtmes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Roval wants to clinch up but slachtmes keeps it at a distance.
Roval throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Roval is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
slachtmes lands with a kick to the temple. Roval shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Roval tries to clinch up but slachtmes circles away and keeps his distance.
slachtmes throws a series of punches but Roval avoids them all with ease.
slachtmes throws a right hand that Roval ducks under and follows up with a left that Roval also avoids with ease.
Roval is looking to clinch but slachtmes is avoiding it.

slachtmes moves into range and clinches up with Roval.
Roval tries to stall but slachtmes uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
slachtmes manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
slachtmes prevents a takedown attempt there.

slachtmes has picked Roval up - he's going for a ride! slachtmes dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Roval is breathing heavily.
slachtmes is looking to work some ground and pound but Roval has wrist control.
slachtmes controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Roval can't keep his opponent in guard - slachtmes advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roval has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. slachtmes is working away from the top position though.
