The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Silva wants to clinch up but The Talent keeps it at a distance.
Silva tries to clinch up but The Talent circles away and keeps his distance.
The Talent misses with a body kick.
The Talent looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Silva throws a nice inside leg kick.

The Talent closes the distance and clinches.
Silva content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Silva manages to break the clinch.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Talent paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and The Talent counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The Talent drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick The Talent off! The Talent jumps back into Silva's guard.
