DaRoss comes to the cage accompanied by Camarillo Brillo, by Frank Zappa. Walter Sobchak has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobchak throws a body punch but DaRoss moves out of range.
DaRoss blocks a jab.
Sobchak swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
DaRoss shoots in but no luck this time.
Sobchak pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
DaRoss steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sobchak.
Sobchak ducks down and throws a hook to the body but DaRoss moves away.
Sobchak throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
DaRoss ducks right into an uppercut from Sobchak.
Sobchak lands a jab to the nose.
Sobchak throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sobchak fakes high and swings low for a body shot but DaRoss manages to avoid it.
Sobchak stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sobchak wants it to stay on the feet.
Sobchak throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent DaRoss stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sobchak throws the left hand but DaRoss avoids the punch easily.
Walter Sobchak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sobchak swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sobchak slaps away a takedown attempt from DaRoss, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Van DaRoss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sobchak throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

DaRoss takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sobchak tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but DaRoss was well out of range. Poor timing from Sobchak.

DaRoss misses with a takedown attempt - Sobchak sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sobchak cracks DaRoss with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends DaRoss tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sobchak pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! DaRoss is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
