Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between donald flump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tom watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). tom watson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
watson looks for a takedown but flump sprawls well.
A combination from flump does no damage.

donald flump seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
flump throws a nice looking combination but watson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
watson doesn't manage to clinch there - flump circles away.
watson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
watson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
watson lands a really nice looking cross but flump seems unphased.
flump will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

watson feints and as flump raises his hands in defense, watson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

flump working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. watson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. watson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

watson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

watson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
