Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bogart Hafalla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hafalla throws the left hand but Black avoids the punch easily.
Hafalla fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bogart Hafalla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hafalla tries to reverse the position but Black maintains control.
Hafalla looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Black is not going to allow Hafalla to sit and survive in this position.

Hafalla breaks Black's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

A close round but Vincent Black will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hafalla doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Black counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hafalla's guard now.
Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hafalla swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hafalla is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Black trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Hafalla manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Black holds on and takes a little breather.

Vincent Black showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Hafalla's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Hafalla pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Black jumps guard but Hafalla stands there with Black around his waist. Black gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hafalla ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hafalla no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Black takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Hafalla looks to land a combination. Black sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Black avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Black counters with a shoot takedown. Hafalla fights it but they end up in guard.

Black makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Black wants to control from the top but Hafalla keeps moving.

Black postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hafalla is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Black, into his guard.

Vincent Black is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Hafalla lands a couple of digs.
Black controls Hafalla momentarily but Hafalla frees himself.
