The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Watson slips a jab and a cross from Montoya.
Watson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Montoya as he jumps to the side.
Donk. Watson catches Montoya right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Carlito Montoya has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Watson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Montoya pinned against the cage. Montoya gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Montoya lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Carlito Montoya is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Watson dives in and grabs Montoya's left leg, looking for a takedown. Montoya pushes down on Watson's head and hops out.

Montoya throws a nice looking combination but Watson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Montoya! Watson is backing up but he can't get away as Montoya lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Watson and ends the fight. Great knockout.
