Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kit Jardin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Ku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Ku is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jardin closes the distance and clinches.
Ku looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ku tries to break the clinch but Jardin is controlling the position.

Jardin jumps into guard, dragging Ku to the mat.

Jardin has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ku off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Ku tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jardin swivels and escapes.
Ku will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jardin rushes Ku and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jardin has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ku is trying to keep an underhook but Jardin manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Jardin is taking a breather. Ku says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jardin lands a nice short elbow.
Jardin moves into full mount! Ku won't be happy about that!
Jardin controlling the position easily from mount.

Ku tries to improve his position but Jardin has taken his back! Jardin has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Ku tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Jardin pushes Ku away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
