Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin Kampmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mandy Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kampmann comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne - Knockout ft. Nicki Minaj. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Kampmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mandy Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gonzalez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kampmann, pushing him back against the cage.

Gonzalez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gonzalez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gonzalez clobbers Kampmann with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gonzalez goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Kampmann stuffs the takedown attempt from Gonzalez. Gonzalez gets slowly back to his feet.
Gonzalez digs a good hook to Kampmann's body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kampmann is defended easily by Gonzalez.
Gonzalez moves in looking to clinch but Kampmann pushes him off.
Kampmann dives in and grabs Gonzalez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gonzalez pushes down on Kampmann's head and hops out.
Gonzalez turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Kampmann counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kampmann.
Kampmann postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Gonzalez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gonzalez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kampmann kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gonzalez wants to get back to his feet but Kampmann is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mandy Gonzalez wasn't active enough on the ground.
Gonzalez connects with a solid leg kick.
Gonzalez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kampmann on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gonzalez. Gonzalez obviously looking to wear him down.
Kampmann is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Good leg kick by Gonzalez there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gonzalez, right into the meat.

Gonzalez lands a big head kick that sends Kampmann tumbling to the mat! Gonzalez takes a step backwards and waves Kampmann back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kampmann chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gonzalez can pounce on him.

It looks like Martin Kampmann has been cut.

Gonzalez is looking for a triangle but Kampmann pushes his legs off easily.

Gonzalez has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Kampmann's face.
Kampmann is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

You get the feeling that Kampmann really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Kampmann on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kampmann tries to get out of the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gonzalez has control of Kampmann's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kampmann regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kampmann leaves Gonzalez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
