Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedro The Sith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Everton Klaus!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Sith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Klaus circles away quickly and effectively.
Klaus keeps the fight on the outside.
Nice sprawl there from The Sith as Klaus shoots in.
Klaus takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Klaus looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for The Sith!
The Sith tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Klaus jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but The Sith manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The Sith regains half guard.
Klaus blocks the strikes from The Sith.
The Sith is trying to control but can't.
Klaus is working for a kimura but The Sith is defending it quite comfortably.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Klaus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as The Sith sprawls well. The Sith wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Klaus gets slowly back to his feet.
Klaus shoots in but no luck this time.
Pedro The Sith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Everton Klaus.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Klaus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has The Sith pinned against the cage. The Sith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The Sith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Klaus.
The Sith closes the distance and clinches.
The Sith has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Klaus is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The Sith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The Sith scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The Sith looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Sith is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Klaus looks calm but he's in trouble here. The Sith gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Klaus is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! The Sith lets go of the hold and Klaus can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Pedro The Sith!
