The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Man or perhaps it was just good defense by Filatov which made him look bad.

Man closes the distance and clinches.
Filatov's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Man pulls guard.
Filatov postures up.
Filatov throws a big right hand that misses.
Man wants to sweep but no luck.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Man can do anything to dispel that myth.

Man parries the strikes from Filatov easily there. Filatov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Man to escape.

Man stands up and beckons Filatov to join him on the feet.

Man fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Filatov, pushing him back against the cage.

Filatov sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Man jumps guard and drags Filatov to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Filatov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Man feints and as Filatov raises his hands in defense, Man changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Man gets to his feet. Filatov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Man has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Filatov uses from the top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Man is on top in guard.
Man is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Man wants to pass the guard but Filatov is keeping the position.

Man gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Filatov prevents the takedown attempt.
Fredrik Filatov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of SEA Man.

SEA Man comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Man has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
