The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grep swivels and escapes.
Grep scores with a jab. Brooks acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Grep throws an overhand right that lands on Brooks's shoulder, as Brooks tries to avoid the shot.
A big right from Grep misses.
Brooks keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice uppercut there from Grep.
Grep looks to land a left hand but Brooks moved out of range nicely.
Horrible takedown by Brooks or perhaps it was just good defense by Grep which made him look bad.
Grep lands with a shot to the body.
Brooks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Knatte Grep has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quintin Brooks.
Brooks takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Brooks is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Grep trying to control the position from guard on top but Brooks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Grep wants to pass the guard but Brooks is keeping the position.

Grep drops back looking for a leg! Brooks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brooks manages to kick Grep off! Grep jumps back into Brooks's guard.
Grep passes Brooks's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Brooks won't allow Grep to pass to mount.

Grep is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brooks is just riding it out for now. Grep eventually gives up the hold.
Grep passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Brooks!

Grep working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Brooks looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Grep! Submission of the night perhaps?
