Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maxi Carnage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slick CPW (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Carnage might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to DMX - No Sunshine. CPW has chosen Aerosmith - Back in the Saddle as his entrance music. Slick CPW is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CPW misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carnage shoots in and drives through. CPW sprawls well.
The crowd cheers as CPW lands an impressive looking overhand right. Carnage doesn't seem phased though.
Carnage is looking to clinch.
Carnage avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts CPW, as that shot connected.
CPW connects with the punch.

CPW fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carnage manages to avoid it.

The fighters circling - CPW throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

CPW tries to kick Carnage off but Carnage keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Carnage escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. CPW gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carnage has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, CPW escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by CPW!
CPW really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carnage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Carnage bucks up and tries to throw CPW off but instead CPW has got his back!
Carnage wants to get back to his feet.

CPW is trying to stick to Carnage's back but Carnage is turning into CPW. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in CPW's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Carnage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
CPW is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Carnage looking to sit in guard and control but CPW gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Carnage is looking for a triangle but CPW pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Carnage has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. CPW is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Carnage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Carnage is not content to let CPW control the position.

CPW is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Carnage looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
CPW is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Carnage has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Carnage thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if CPW can do anything to dispel that myth.

Carnage has hold of CPW's arm. He's looking for a kimura. CPW seems comfortable defending it but Carnage has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! CPW is real pain and he's forced to tap out! CPW is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Carnage couldn't care less - he's delighted!
