Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor hugo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Lasha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hugo lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The fighters circling - Lasha throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

hugo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lasha's sensitive parts.

and hugo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Lasha tries to break free but hugo pushes him back against the cage.
hugo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

hugo works over Lasha's head and body with a nice combination.
hugo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lasha backs up against the cage.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from hugo, right into the meat.

and Lasha counters with a one-two to the body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for hugo.

hugo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
hugo clinches with his opponent.

hugo lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Victor hugo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
hugo throws a right and a left that both miss.
hugo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lasha moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lasha looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
hugo thuds his shin into the meat of Lasha's side.

hugo has closed the distance and engaged Lasha in a clinch.

hugo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
hugo moves into the clinch successfully.
hugo scores with a shot to the side of Lasha's head.

hugo looks to land a combination. Lasha sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lasha is rocked!
hugo lands with a big right hook that stumbles Lasha - he's out on his feet here! hugo follows up with another monster hook that separates Lasha from consciousness! Lasha falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! hugo stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
