Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bobby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Leezak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob Bobby looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobby looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Leezak looks for the body kick but Bobby saw that one coming.
A clash of legs there as Bobby blocks the low kick.
Leezak misses with a series of wild punches.
Bobby gets the takedown into side control.
Leezak is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Bobby tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bobby has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Leezak pushes Bobby away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bobby gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leezak is trying to stand up here but Bobby is controlling him well.

Bobby shoots in for a takedown but Leezak shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Leezak throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Leezak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bobby paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Leezak is pressed up against the cage. Bobby has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Leezak down to the mat. Leezak avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bobby chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Leezak can pounce on him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Leezak is not content to let Bobby control the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Leezak moves in looking to clinch but Bobby pushes him off.

Leezak misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Bobby counters with a nice low kick that buckles Leezak's knee momentarily.

Leezak leaves Bobby with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Bobby counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bobby won't allow Leezak to get back to his feet.

Bobby stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leezak swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bobby is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Bobby seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Leezak for as long as he can get away with.
Bob Bobby overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Leezak wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Bobby manages to pass to side control.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bobby, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
