Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Jorgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorgan comes to the cage accompanied by Dick In A Box. Reyes is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Riot. Stevie Reyes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stevie Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Jorgan backs up against the cage.
A jab from Reyes finds it's way through Jorgan's defenses.
Jorgan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reyes tries to avoid it but Jorgan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reyes to the ground. Reyes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Reyes ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Reyes digs a good hook to Jorgan's body.
Jorgan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Reyes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jorgan manages to avoid it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Reyes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jorgan manages to avoid it.

Reyes leaves Jorgan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Stevie Reyes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nice uppercut lands for Reyes. That snapped Jorgan's head back.

Well Reyes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
