The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dowling is trying hard to land a takedown here. Satriani sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Satriani feints and then cracks Dowling's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dowling down.
Dowling shoots in for a double leg but Satriani sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Dowling throws a lazy right hand but Satriani sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Dowling throws a body punch but Satriani moves out of range.
