Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between pete piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and lestly bolery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

bolery shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in piper's guard.

piper has his foot on bolery's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. bolery works his way back into a safe position though.

piper is looking for a triangle but bolery pushes his legs off easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

bolery decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on piper, up you get!

piper drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Well bolery has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
