Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ted mandingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moy Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendez has chosen pick the world up as his entrance music. Moy Mendez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ted mandingo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Moy Mendez!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mandingo fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mendez is out of range.
mandingo swinging wildly here.

Mendez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches mandingo napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Mendez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but mandingo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
mandingo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mendez has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Mendez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
mandingo is looking to get back to his feet here but Mendez is keeping cool and he's managed to take mandingo's back.
Mendez lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Ted mandingo has been cut.
mandingo holding both Mendez 's hands and preventing any damage.

mandingo is trapped and Mendez is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Mendez cracks mandingo with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing mandingo from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
mandingo wants to get back to his feet.

mandingo manages to escape to his feet.
Mendez moves out of range of the body kick.

Mendez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Mendez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. mandingo smiles and moves away.
mandingo takes a swing at Mendez's ribcage but misses.
A clash of legs there as Mendez blocks the low kick.

and Mendez counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Mendez is keen to just control but mandingo is a slippery customer.
