Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orik Skysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul King!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King tries to close the distance and clinch but Skysdale swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
King looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Skysdale avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
King keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Skysdale scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
King had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Skysdale is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. King Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Skysdale's back instead.
