Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and john myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

myers closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - myers lands in his opponent's guard.

myers is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

myers jumps guard and drags Jones to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
myers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

myers is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

myers tries to throw a body punch but Jones avoids it by throwing myers back against the cage.

myers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and myers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as myers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

myers gets to his feet - Jones follows without any prompting.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

myers is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jones pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jones has had enough of the clinch but myers keeps him there for the moment.
