Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between henry perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kouske Akagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Akagi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. perry manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
perry doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
perry throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Akagi postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Akagi is in close to perry's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Akagi slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from perry.
Akagi stops perry from getting back to his feet.
Akagi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
perry wants to get back to full guard.

Akagi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
perry throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Akagi manages to pass to side control.
Akagi content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Akagi gets to mount! perry was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

perry has left one of his arms exposed and Akagi doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. perry screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
