Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sid Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Amazing- Kanye West. Marcus Davis has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sid Singh's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Sid Singh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Marcus Davis! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Singh throws a nice looking combination but Davis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Davis is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Davis misses with a combination
and Singh counters with a left and a right that stings Davis. Davis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Singh counters with a three punch combo that has Davis backing up. Davis nods at Singh to acknowledge the strikes. A low kick from Davis is predictable there and Singh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Davis's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis keeping moving, preventing Singh from controlling successfully. Singh preventing the sweep. Davis keeping full guard, as Singh tries to pass. Singh trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Davis trying to strike off his back.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Davis can do anything to dispel that myth. Singh passes Davis's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Singh trying to control the pace. Davis misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Singh trying to control from half guard but Davis is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh stops Davis from getting back to his feet.
Davis tries to get to full guard but Singh has control of the leg. Singh prevents Davis from standing back up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Davis works over Singh's head and body with a nice combination. Singh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davis.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. A jab from Davis does it's job there. Marcus Davis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Singh shoots in and drives through. Davis sprawls well. Singh misses with a wild combination.
Singh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Davis is fending him off so far but Singh persists. Nope, Davis circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sid Singh. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Singh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Davis as he jumps to the side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sid Singh dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Davis tries to clinch but Singh is having none of it. Davis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Singh fails to land the takedown. Singh on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Singh tries for a takedown but Davis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Singh. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sid Singh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Davis lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Singh slips a straight right by Davis. Davis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Singh has time to react. Singh showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Davis.

and Davis counters with a nice low kick that buckles Singh's knee momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice combination there by Davis.
Davis misses with a double jab
and Singh counters with a nice double leg into side control. Davis won't be happy with that. Davis stops Singh from passing to mount. Davis tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh decides to stand back up. Singh steps back and let's Davis get back to his feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Davis looking to throw knees to the head but Singh is blocking nicely.
Davis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Singh has a takedown stuffed. Davis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Singh moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Davis leaves Singh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Davis throws a head kick that misses and Singh moves into the clinch. Davis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Singh counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Davis! Davis is trying to get back to his feet but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sid Singh dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Singh misses with the combination.

Davis throws a series of punches but Singh avoids them all with ease. Davis fails in his attempt to clinch. Davis does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Davis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Singh. Davis misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Davis misses with a double jab
and Singh counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Singh. Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Singh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Singh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Singh is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Davis trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis wants to get back to his feet but Singh is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Singh has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Davis is proving hard to escape from. Singh decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Davis shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Singh fails with the takedown and Davis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sid Singh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Davis misses with the combination.
Singh dives in and grabs Davis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes down on Singh's head and hops out. Marcus Davis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sid Singh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Davis misses with a jab, cross combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Sid Singh showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Singh, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
