The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kidd shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kidd looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Kidd drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Spaghetti dives on top into guard.

Spaghetti seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Spaghetti would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Kidd might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Spaghetti sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kidd's guard.

Spaghetti is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kidd sees it coming and defends easily.

Kidd wants to control the action here but instead Spaghetti manages to pass to full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Spaghetti is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kidd knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kidd for a finish.

Spaghetti is looking for the choke from the back position but Kidd is controlling his hands well.

Spaghetti is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kidd has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Spaghetti has managed to slip his arm under Kidd's chin. This could be all over... yep, Kidd is tapping out! Submission win for Spaghetti.
